March 5 2012
Safety and Health

The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) serves as the secretariat for the A10 Accredited Standards Committee on construction and demolition operations. The A10 standards serve as a guide to contractors, labor and equipment manufacturers in the construction and demolition industry.

Brian holds a B.S. in HVAC Design Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology. During his ten-year tenure with J.J. White, he has implemented an ISO9001 compliant program, and managed projects that led to OSHA VPP Star Certification at the Paulsboro Refinery. In addition, he spearheaded the effort that led to J.J. White becoming the first contractor to achieve OSHA VPP Star Certification for their Mobile Workforce in OSHA’s Region III. Brian and his staff have developed and implemented numerous safety programs and initiatives that have resulted in a 20% reduction in TRIR and a 40% reduction in TIR in the past year. Brian is an active member of the TAUC Safety & Health Committee.

TAUC is grateful to J.J. White for allowing Brian to serve, and we have already benefitted from his expertise.
