WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detroit Boiler Company, based out of Detroit, Michigan, was randomly selected in the Dec. 3 W.O.R.K. raffle for a full page advertisement in The Construction User.

More than 300 contractors completed their W.O.R.K. profiles online during the month of November, making themselves eligible in the raffle for one full-page advertisement in The Construction User, valued at $3,500. The ad will be placed in the March 2009 issue.

The raffle was drawn during the “State of the Union… Construction Industry,” which was held at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, D.C. Mr. John Schober, Chicago district manager at the American Bridge Company, assisted in the drawing, which was held before the live audience of more than 100 meeting attendees.

The raffle was designed to give contractors an incentive to fill out their profiles quickly, so the association can launch the new W.O.R.K. tool, and find contractors more work, as soon as possible.
