Harwood grant recipients announced

The U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration has awarded more than $6.8 million in Susan Harwood Training Grants.

A record number of 345 grant applications were submitted, and only 30 recipients were awarded funding.

Grantees include labor unions, employer associations, colleges and universities and other nonprofit organizations. Funding for these training grants cover a two year period.
