Long-term work opportunity in Lively Grove, Illinois

The Association of Union Constructors has been notified Bechtel is seeking out union contractors to work at the Prairie State Coal Fired Power Plant Project in Lively Grove, Illinois.

According to Bechtel, the project is fully funded through 2012, and will not be delayed due to the current economic conditions. For example, Bechtel reports they currently have 160 Boilermakers on payroll and expect to peak at 550 in September 2010.
