New guidance released on controlling silica exposures in construction

OSHA recently published a guidance document addressing the control of worker exposure to dust containing crystalline silica, known to cause the lung disease silicosis.

The publication is intended to assist employers in providing a safe and healthful workplace by including methods for controlling silica such as wet cutting and vacuum dust collection systems.
