In a bold change of policy, Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray says he supports local decisions to make project labor agreements a condition of bidding for construction projects involving state funds, according to a letter dated February 2009.
“I am aware that some previous attorneys general have taken a different view… but I support this type of agreement if the parties involved have determined that it will be important to the success of this project,” Cordray said in the letter.
