David Daquelente

Dave Daquelente is the Executive Director of the Master Builders’ Association of Western Pennsylvania, Inc. (MBA).  The MBA is a trade association whose membership includes more than 240 of the top general contractors, construction managers, specialty contractors, and service and supplier companies supporting Western Pennsylvania’s commercial construction industry. Daquelente serves the MBA Board of Directors and leads a dynamic team that focuses on membership and industry service. The MBA is one of 89 chapters affiliated with Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) representing over 32,000 members nationwide. Members of the MBA are also members of AGC of America and this affiliation affords the MBA membership with an even stronger industry voice and broader access to services, resources, and activities available on a national level. MBA contractors have set the standard in Western Pennsylvania for construction excellence by investing in a skilled workforce, implementing award-winning safety programs and offering the best in management expertise. Daquelente began serving as Executive Director at the end of 2019, after most recently acting as the Executive Director for the Ironworker Employers Association. Daquelente brings a passion for the construction industry and over 20 years of experience, including as a member of the Carpenters Union following graduate school. Daquelente is deeply rooted in the Pittsburgh area and brings demonstrated strengths as a relationship builder, committed to both mission and membership engaging with owner, contractor, and labor leaders in regional and national service.
