Special union leaders' forum slated for 2012 TAUC Leadership Conference

April 3 2012

The leaders of several building trades unions will participate in a special town hall-style forum at TAUC’s 2012 Leadership Conference, scheduled for May 15-18 at the Westin Resort and Spa in beautiful Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The forum is a follow-up to our extremely successful “Can We TAUC?” event held at the 2008 conference. Once again, attendees will have the chance to hear union leaders discuss the crucial issues facing union construction — and ask their own questions, too!

The following International/General Presidents are scheduled to attend this year’s conference:

  • James Callahan, Operating Engineers International Union
  • Ed Hill, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers
  • James Williams, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades

In addition, our keynote speaker will be energy expert Robert Bryce, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of Power Hungry: The Myths of “Green” Energy and the Real Fuels of the Future. Mr. Bryce, whose work frequently appears in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, will share his insights on the future of the American energy industry.

Plus you can look forward to numerous networking opportunities, including a golf tournament, gala reception and dance, to name just a few!

Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of this special event. But hurry — registration ends Friday, April 13!
