Take the 2016 TAUC Labor Supply Survey Today!

January 7 2016

TAUC is urging its contractor members, labor partners and owner-clients to complete the 2016 Union Labor Supply Survey, conducted in conjunction with the Construction Labor Research Council (CLRC).

Your responses to this year’s survey — the ONLY union-specific survey focusing on construction and maintenance — will help create a detailed, data-driven picture of the current state of the labor supply throughout the United States!

TAUC launched the Union Labor Supply Survey in 2015 (you can read the full results and download a free copy of last year’s survey report by clicking here). We received a tremendous response from a wide cross-section of the entire industry – nearly 1,000 contractors, labor representatives, owner-clients and construction association representatives completed the survey.

This year’s survey has been enhanced based on feedback from last year’s respondents. You asked for more data, and we heard you! The 2016 Union Labor Supply Survey drills down even further into the specifics of both regional and national labor supply trends. Our goal is to provide the industry with an even more robust set of metrics. TAUC and its partners in labor believe that a data-driven approach is the only way to achieve our shared goals of planning for the future and increasing union market share.

Your answers are confidential and will be submitted anonymously. The responses will be grouped together and then analyzed to create a final report that will be made available via the TAUC website (www.tauc.org).

Please feel free to contact Daniel Hogan, Director of Industrial Relations, at 703-524-3336 ext. 119 or dhogan@tauc.org if you have questions or comments.
