Recently, the National Association of Construction Boilermaker Employers (NACBE) acknowledged the efforts of TAUC member contractor Fresh Meadow Power and Boilermaker Local 5 for the successful completion of the Con Edison East River Station Boiler 70 BRILC Phase II project in New York.
NACBE presented representatives from Con Ed, Fresh Meadow and Local 5 with a special Project Performance Award for maintaining an injury-free workplace and implementing several cost-effective measures associated with the M.O.S.T (Mobilization, Optimization, Stabilization and Training) program, a non-profit labor management trust. The East River project was completed under the terms of the National Maintenance Agreements.
Since 2008, TAUC has maintained a formal strategic alliance with NACBE to assist both organizations in advancing their mutual interests. We wish to thank NACBE for making the effort to honor all of the parties involved in this important project.
