TAUC presents Helmets to Hardhats with $100,000 check

A special ceremony was held on May 16 at TAUC’s annual Leadership Conference in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Presenting the check to Mr. Roberts were newly elected TAUC President Tom Felton of MC Industrial; outgoing TAUC President Robert Santillo; TAUC CEO Steve Lindauer, who also serves as Secretary of Helmets to Hardhats; and Tom Van Oss of Cherne, Helmets to Hardhats’ Management Co-chair.

“This past December, TAUC’s Executive Committee and the NMAPC’s Board of Directors met in Washington D.C.,” Lindauer said. “At that meeting, the leadership of both organizations unanimously agreed to provide additional support to Helmets to Hardhats, a program that has assisted hundreds if not thousands of exiting military personnel to transition to the union construction industry. We are honored that our contribution will help carry forward such a worthy endeavor.”
