TAUC Welcomes Two New Affiliate Members

TAUC is pleased to welcome our two newest Affiliate Members, Amalgamated Bank and Value-Added Safety Consulting LLC.

Amalgamated Bank pledges to “deliver uncompromising customer attention, provide accessibility to all people and serve as an advocate for workers and the people and organizations that support them.” It is majority union-owned and unionized.

Value-Added Safety Consulting LLC focuses on providing safety worksite assessments, with a concentration in the areas of management commitment, employee involvement, worksite analysis, hazard prevention and control, and training.

TAUC Affiliate members provide services, products, equipment and information to construction contractors and operate in a manner consistent with our commitment to the union construction industry. The Chair of the Affiliate Member Committee serves as a voting member of the association’s Board of Directors. Affiliate members also receive a free complimentary subscription of the association’s quarterly magazine, The Construction User, and monthly e-newsletter, TAUC About Construction; are invited to attend the annual TAUC Leadership Conference, and are also invited to attend all TAUC Safety-Labor Forums free of charge.
