The Association of Union Constructors
The Association of Union Constructors evolved from the National Erectors Association, which was founded in 1969 by the leading union steel erectors in the construction industry. Over the years, membership grew to include all types of union contractors, and, consequently, the name and structure of the association was changed to The Association of Union Constructors in 2007. The new association reflects the changing face of the construction industry and more accurately reflects the growing diversity of TAUC members.
Our national headquarters is located in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from downtown Washington, D.C.

"A Gathering of Leaders"

The 2015 TAUC Leadership Conference is shaping up to be the best one yet, with outstanding keynote presentations scheduled by Joe Erhmann and Dr. Rita Murray. But we are especially excited to have the North America’s Building Trades Unions’ Governing Board of Presidents attending and presenting in a special panel presentation we’re calling “A Gathering of Leaders” to be held on Wednesday morning, May 13th.
TAUC prides itself on having an outstanding working relationship with our partners in organized labor, and this panel presentation will be a testament to that fact! We encourage all of our union contractor members to attend this year’s conference so that they may have an opportunity to network and hear first hand from the highest levels within the building trades’ International Unions.

This is an incredibly unique opportunity to have this many International Union Presidents at one conference, and we hope our members and affiliates will take advantage.
