    Attire: Attire for the 2024 TAUC Leadership Conference is resort casual for all meetings and social events, EXCEPT for the Awards Dinner. This event is sport coat and dress slacks or suit for the gentlemen, and dresses or suits for the ladies.

    The 2024 TAUC Leadership Conference is open to anyone with a vested interest in the enhancement and advancement of union construction.

    Specifically, the 2024 TAUC Leadership Conference is designed to be a premiere networking event for industrial business owners, union contractors and labor representatives.

    The Association of Union Constructors is pleased to present the 2024 TAUC Leadership Conference. The leadership conference will be held May 14-17, 2024 at the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, 8212 Barton Club Dr, Austin, TX 78735.

    TAUC's Leadership Conference brings together all parties of the union construction and maintenance industry, providing the latest information on trends, problem-solving strategies and perspectives to advance our industry. We encourage our members and affiliates to attend this year's conference to take advantage of the numerous educational and networking opportunities.

    As the national trade association for the union construction industry, TAUC strives to create and deliver events that capture the energy of the dynamic union construction market and offer necessary opportunities for union contractors, industrial business owners and union representatives to learn and network with fellow construction professionals. TAUC events are a means of advancing the union construction industry's collective interests in safety and health, labor relations, education, innovation and technology, and work opportunities.

    If you've never attended a TAUC Leadership Conference, you can expect a full roster of high-quality speakers as well as numerous networking opportunities -- gourmet meals, a gala reception and dance, to name just a few. The conference also hosts the James J. Willis Craftsperson of the Year Award, Thomas J. Reynolds Safety Awards, and the new Joseph R. LaRocca Project of the Year Award presentations, three of the industry's most prestigious award programs.

      The Club at Savannah Harbor is former home to The PGA TOUR’s Champions Tour, Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf Championship, the course that lies nestled between the banks of the Savannah and Back Rivers of the splendid Georgia Low Country. The serenity of coastal Georgia, with its tidal marshes and abundant wildlife provides the canvas for The Club at Savannah Harbor, an 18-hole masterpiece created and designed by renowned architect Robert Cupp in conjunction with the legendary “Slammin’ Sammy” Snead. The club continues to impress golfers and was recognized in by GOLFWEEK as one of the “Best Courses You Can Play in Georgia”2020! TAUC's Golf Committee has elected to play a scramble format. 1. The entry for the 2023 TAUC Union-Made Golf Tournament is $250.00 per person, which includes green fees, cart fees, refreshments and a boxed lunch. 2. The Golf Committee will assign all foursomes. Since we will be allowed a "shotgun" start at 12:45 pm SHARP, it is extremely important that all participants be at the course no later than 30 minutes prior to tee-off. Players need to check in at the Pro Shop to locate their assigned foursomes. Transportation is provided by the following schedule: 11:45am Motorcoach boards at JW Marriott 12:00pm Motorcoach departs 12:15pm Motorcoach arrives The Club at Savannah Harbor 12:45pm Shotgun start Upon conclusion of game, motorcoach to return all players to JW Marriott. 3. Rental clubs are available. Golfers are responsible for their own rental club payments and golf shop merchandise. Golfers must have proper identification on your golf clubs upon hotel check-in. This will help the bell staff to readily locate your clubs. Golfers Dress Code: Slacks or Bermuda length shorts. Shirts with sleeves and collars are required at all times. Dress, skirt and blouse, slacks or shorts. All denim and jeans and /or cut- offs are not permitted for men or women at any time.     - Registration fees include all scheduled business functions, activities, and meals.
    - A name badge will be issued to all paid registrants and will be your admittance to all business functions.
    - Only members in good standing will be eligible for discounted member rates when registering for the 2024 TAUC Leadership Conference.
    - TAUC membership dues are due by January 31, 2024.
    - The registration deadline is April 19, 2024.

  • Payment Instructions

    All meeting registration and event fees can be paid online. From the Registration View page, click "Enter Payment" and follow instructions. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express credit cards.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Registration can be cancelled, and your registration fee refunded in full, if written cancellation is received in The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) office on or before April 14, 2024. If cancelled after this date you will forfeit your registration fee or as an alternative option you are welcome to send a substitute or replacement.
