New TAUC Board Members, First Vice-President Elected

CHARLESTON, S.C. – TAUC Governing Members elected three new members of the Board of Directors and appointed a new First Vice-President at the 2015 TAUC Leadership Conference, held May 12-15 at the Belmond Charleston Place in Charleston, S.C.

Jake Locklear of Atlantic Plant Maintenance was appointed to the position of First Vice-President, succeeding Tom Van Oss of Cherne Contracting Corp.

In addition, the following members’ names were placed into nomination by the nominating committee and subsequently elected to serve on the board:

• Jim Daley of J.J. White;
• Robert George of Abate Irwin; and
• Steve Gorman of Sachs Electric.

TAUC President Tom Felton also thanked outgoing board members Kathleen Dobson (Alberici Constructors), Tom Van Oss (Cherne), and Scean Cherry (Babcock & Wilcox) for their service and presented them with commemorative plaques.
