Each year The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) joins forces with four other national union contractor trade associations to jointly host a National Legislative Conference.
Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel.
A tentative program agenda can be found below along with the registration form to attend the conference. Please note that there is a Monday afternoon session on public and private sector green building programs that is free to all conference registrants.
For anyone who would like to attend only the Monday afternoon session there is a $100 fee. Attendance at the cocktail reception is complimentary to all, including spouses and Monday-only program registrants. The Monday program will address the newly passed health care law and how it will affect multiemployer plans and will also review any late breaking changes in the effort to get temporary pension plan relief.
Wednesday morning we will have Dr. David Michaels, Department of Labors’ Assistant Secretary of OSHA address the group. It is a full program but we also need your help on Capitol Hill to move the misclassification reform to enactment so we would love to see every TAUC member that can attend be represented at the conference.
Please give Todd Mustard, senior director of member services a call at (703) 524-3336 x112 if you have any questions.
