The Association of Union Constructors
The Association of Union Constructors evolved from the National Erectors Association, which was founded in 1969 by the leading union steel erectors in the construction industry. Over the years, membership grew to include all types of union contractors, and, consequently, the name and structure of the association was changed to The Association of Union Constructors in 2007. The new association reflects the changing face of the construction industry and more accurately reflects the growing diversity of TAUC members.
Our national headquarters is located in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from downtown Washington, D.C.

Registration now open for 2012 TAUC Leadership Conference!

for the 2012 TAUC Leadership Conference, scheduled for May 15-18 at the Westin Resort & Spa on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
You can expect an outstanding roster of speakers and informative presentations at this year’s conference. Our keynote speaker will be energy expert Robert Bryce, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of Power Hungry: The Myths of “Green” Energy and the Real Fuels of the Future. Mr. Bryce, whose work frequently appears in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, will share his insights on the future of the American energy industry.
The conference will also host the James J. Willis Craftperson of the Year and Thomas J. Reynolds Safety Awards presentations, two of the industry’s most prestigious recognition programs. The application deadline for both awards is Friday, March 16. Don’t miss out on the chance to have your company recognized by TAUC!
