TAUC is asking its membership to support HR 147 – Establish a “Homeless Veterans Assistance Fund” Designate $3 of Your Income Tax for Homeless Veterans.
I urge you to cosponsor HR 147 which would establish a “Homeless Veterans Assistance Fund” with in the Treasury and would allow taxpayers to designate $3 of their income tax payment to provide assistance to homeless veterans. Amounts in the Homeless Veterans Assistance Fund would be available, as provided in appropriation Acts, only for the purpose of providing assistance to homeless veterans with such assistance being used to supplement, not replace, existing funding for such assistance.
Again, I urge you to do the right thing and co-sponsor HR 147. Establish a “Homeless Veterans Assistance Fund” Bill # H.R.147
