The Association of Union Constructors
The Association of Union Constructors evolved from the National Erectors Association, which was founded in 1969 by the leading union steel erectors in the construction industry. Over the years, membership grew to include all types of union contractors, and, consequently, the name and structure of the association was changed to The Association of Union Constructors in 2007. The new association reflects the changing face of the construction industry and more accurately reflects the growing diversity of TAUC members.
Our national headquarters is located in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from downtown Washington, D.C.

TAUC Magazine Wins Four Prestigious MarCom Awards

TAUC is pleased to announce that our official quarterly magazine, The Construction User, won four prestigious MarCom Awards in this year’s international creative competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP)!
The Fall 2012 issue won the highest possible honor in the competition, the coveted Platinum Award. In addition, the Winter 2012, Spring 2013 and Summer 2013 all received Gold Awards — a fantastic achievement considering the competition receives more than 6,000 entries from around the world.
