TAUC member to serve on ACCSH

William Hering, Corporate Safety & Health Director for S.M. Electric Co. and longtime TAUC member, has been invited by Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis to serve a two-year term as a member of the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) as an employer representative.

“It is an absolute honor to serve OSHA and the U.S. government at this level,” Mr. Hering said in a statement. “I will do my best in the tasks ahead and represent the employers, among others, in our endless efforts to keep the American construction work force safe.”

Mr. Hering currently serves on and is the immediate past chairman of the TAUC Safety and Health Committee. TAUC congratulates Bill on this latest honor and looks forward to his contributions to the committee.
