The Association of Union Constructors
The Association of Union Constructors evolved from the National Erectors Association, which was founded in 1969 by the leading union steel erectors in the construction industry. Over the years, membership grew to include all types of union contractors, and, consequently, the name and structure of the association was changed to The Association of Union Constructors in 2007. The new association reflects the changing face of the construction industry and more accurately reflects the growing diversity of TAUC members.
Our national headquarters is located in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from downtown Washington, D.C.

TAUC Welcomes Newest Governing Member

This new TAUC Governing member provides their customers with services ranging from specification design, material sales, fabrication and installation. They are comprised of 29 in-house sales, estimators, project managers, fabricators and support staff and are ready to access their four warehousing centers for immediate service. This proud company is ranked among the top independent contractors and suppliers in the Unites States by their industry’s major manufacturers.
Striving annually to be the largest utilizer of Local 2 Heat and Frost Insulators is just one of their major accomplishments.
