U.S. Steel exec set to address 200 industry leaders in Pittsburgh

Roughly 200 union contractors, labor representatives and industrial business owners from around the country are set to convene in Pittsburgh to address critical safety and labor relations issues in industrial maintenance and construction on Sept. 9.

IMGXYZ365IMGZYXThe summer safety-labor forum, Pennsylvania Powers Union Construction, will include a keynote address by U.S. Steel Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer John Surma.

It will also feature a power generation panel, including representatives of Allegheny Energy Supply, American Electric Power, FirstEnergy and Public Service Enterprise Group.

Additional appearances include: Stewart Burkhammer, Safety Consultant; Tony Downey, Director of Safety, Day & Zimmermann NPS, Inc.; Richard Stanizzo, Business Manager, Pittsburgh Building and Construction Trades Council; and, Raymond Ventrone, Business Manager, Boilermakers Local 154.
