The Association of Union Constructors
The Association of Union Constructors evolved from the National Erectors Association, which was founded in 1969 by the leading union steel erectors in the construction industry. Over the years, membership grew to include all types of union contractors, and, consequently, the name and structure of the association was changed to The Association of Union Constructors in 2007. The new association reflects the changing face of the construction industry and more accurately reflects the growing diversity of TAUC members.
Our national headquarters is located in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from downtown Washington, D.C.

Cleveland Rocks Union Construction was held on Wednesday, August 15th, at the Hilton Garden Inn Gateway in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
The event included both TAUC’s Safety-Labor Forum and the second installment in TAUC’s Webinar series, “Tailor-Made NMAs!”
The Safety-Labor Forum featured a live presentation from Stewart Burkhammer from federal OSHA on what is taking place at the Administration, and Brian Nyerges FirstEnergy was on hand to discuss their company’s policies on Hexavalent Chromium.
Following the lunch break, attendees will be invited to serve as the studio audience during the live broadcast of TAUC’s “Tailor-Made NMAs” Webinar on how to utilize the National Maintenance Agreements (NMAs) addendum process to meet your Project Labor Agreement needs.
