Washington, D.C. – April 23, 2021 – Today, The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) Chief Executive Officer Daniel Hogan issued the following statement commending the introduction of the Clean Energy for America Act of 2021: “The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) applauds Senator Wyden and his colleagues for their leadership in introducing the Clean Energy for America Act. TAUC members, working with our building and construction trades union partners, provide our clients in the energy sector with the infrastructure necessary to meet the nation?s evolving power generation needs. By requiring energy infrastructure projects that receive taxpayer assistance to comply with federal prevailing-wage requirements and utilize registered apprentices, this legislation will ensure that TAUC members can remain competitive in delivering high-quality safe construction services and project outcomes for their clients.”
